Do I Need a Referral?

In most cases, no referral is needed to see a chiropractor.

Many people choose to book an appointment directly when they develop back pain, neck pain, headaches, muscle tension or other musculoskeletal concerns.

At your first visit, I’ll take the time to understand your symptoms and perform a thorough assessment before discussing whether chiropractic care is suitable for you.

There are times when additional investigations, such as imaging, or referral to another healthcare professional may be appropriate. If that’s the case, I’ll explain my recommendations clearly and work with you to ensure you receive the care that’s best suited to your condition.

Whether you’re visiting for a recent injury, ongoing discomfort or simply want to improve the way your body moves, you’re welcome to make an appointment without first seeing your GP.
