One of the best things you can do for your spine is to keep it moving.
There isn’t one perfect exercise that’s right for everyone. The best exercise is one that’s appropriate for your age, lifestyle, current health and any injuries or conditions you may have.
In general, a combination of walking, stretching, strength training and exercises that improve balance and flexibility can all support a healthy spine. Strong core muscles also help provide stability and reduce unnecessary strain on the back.
During your consultation, I may recommend specific exercises based on your individual assessment. These aren’t designed to replace your favourite activities but to complement them and address areas that may need a little extra attention.
The key is consistency rather than intensity. Gentle, regular movement usually provides far greater long-term benefits than occasional bursts of strenuous exercise.
