I may consider fascia or myofascial release techniques when soft tissue tightness or restricted movement appears to be contributing to a musculoskeletal problem.
This may include certain areas of muscle tension, stiffness or movement restriction.
However, I don’t assume that every ache is a “fascia problem”.
Your assessment comes first. If a manual soft tissue technique is appropriate, I’ll explain why I think it may form a useful part of your treatment.
The technique should fit the patient — not the other way around.
