What Does a Chiropractor Do?

One of the most rewarding parts of being a chiropractor is helping people understand what their bodies are trying to tell them.

Rather than focusing only on the area that’s painful, I assess how your whole body is moving. Your posture, spinal mobility, muscle balance, joint function, previous injuries, daily activities and even your work environment can all influence how you feel.

The first step is always a thorough assessment. This helps identify the factors that may be contributing to your symptoms and, just as importantly, rules out conditions that may require further investigation or referral to another healthcare professional.

If chiropractic care is appropriate, your treatment plan will be designed specifically for you. This may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue treatment, movement advice, stretching and strengthening exercises, or simple changes you can make to your daily routine.

My goal isn’t simply to help you feel better today. It’s to help you move well, understand your body and support your long-term musculoskeletal health.
