Most people don’t come to see a chiropractor because they’re thinking about their spine—they come because something doesn’t feel right. It may be persistent back pain, a stiff neck, recurring headaches, aching shoulders or simply feeling as though their body isn’t moving as comfortably as it once did.
Chiropractic care is a healthcare profession that focuses on the relationship between your spine, joints, muscles and nervous system. These structures work together every day to support movement, balance and overall function. When one area isn’t moving or functioning as it should, it can place extra strain on other parts of the body.
During your consultation, my role is to understand not only where you feel discomfort, but also why it may have developed. Every patient is different, so treatment is always tailored to your individual needs and goals. Depending on your assessment, care may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises, posture advice and practical lifestyle recommendations.
Just as importantly, I believe patients should understand their bodies. I’ll always take the time to explain my findings and answer your questions, so you feel informed and confident throughout your care.
