Can Chiropractic Help Lower Back Pain?

Lower back pain is one of the most common reasons people visit a chiropractor, and it’s something I see regularly in practice.

It can develop for many different reasons, including prolonged sitting, poor posture, lifting injuries, sporting activities, muscle strain or simply the accumulated effects of everyday life. Sometimes the cause is obvious, while in other cases it develops gradually over time.

The first step is understanding what’s contributing to your symptoms. I’ll assess how your spine and joints are moving, evaluate your posture and muscle function, and discuss your daily activities before recommending treatment.

Where appropriate, chiropractic care may include spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises and practical advice to improve the way your body moves and functions. I’ll also talk to you about simple changes you can make at home or at work to support your recovery.

If I believe your symptoms require further investigation or referral, I’ll explain this and ensure you receive the most appropriate care. My aim is always to help you move more comfortably, regain confidence in your body and get back to doing the things you enjoy.
